Knockvologan Studies, Isle of Mull

For two weeks in June I spent time as artist in residence at Knockvologan Studies — a home for art, literature, design and nature studies on the Isle of Mull run by Miek Zwamborn and Rutger Emmelkamp.

As part of an Open Barn—a regular event inviting the Ross of Mull community along to Knockvologan to see what the visiting residents are up to—we pulled together a small collection of books which have been influencing the work being made these past two weeks. It was such an honour to be provided access to these books, and to share them with people who were so generous with their time, attention, kindness and curiosity. Please check out Knockvologan Studies and all of the great things they’re doing on Mull and beyond.

The list can be found below, and hopefully all of these in time will be added to the permanent collection at The Nature Library.
